The host at this restaurant harassed me, he told me he didn't have time for me and didn't care that I was a regular and good customer. He was absolutely out of line and should be fired he was the host on Friday November 3rd in the evening. If you own this restaurant you should know you have an employee who is a disgrace to women and your guests in general. He will end your business. I will never be back, neither will my large family or very large group of local friends including the entirety of the sayville rotary club. What a disgraceful disgusting place, sexist, probably racist too ... AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Grant atmosphere, great food and drinks. Staff was very good. Price was a little higher than expected but it was worth it; quality food.
On Friday November 3rd at 7:30 pm I entered this restaurant with my daughter and my husband, but we did not have a reservation. I have eaten here several times, and in the past did enjoy the food, my husband had never been. We entered with our stroller and while waiting at the host stand with a man who seemed to be a waiter helping us find a table, everything seemed fine. Then a tall man in a white shirt and glasses approach and told us we could not bring the stroller in, and we should leave! where he was standing, he could not see my child's age, size, is the stroller was perhaps an assistance walking device, he didn't care, he dismissed us and basically tried to kick me out. I tried to calmly explain that the stroller could be folded, but even if it could not the restaurant has to be handicap accessible, RIGHT?!?! Again he could not see if perhaps my child was in a stroller because she could not walk, or needed assistance, he did not care. This seems illegal to me.
I should also point out that there were TWO different tables with children sitting at them in high chairs ... not sure why they were special enough to not be harassed by this terrible man who was hosting, but he needs to be fired, his mistreatment was harassment and I will be sure everyone on the internet hears about how he treated me.
Regardless he did not stop there! He told me I was a bad mother for having my child out so late, I am not even joking, word for word this random man who knew nothing of me, my family, my child, told me I was a bad mother for being out with my child on a friday night at 7:30! I told him to calm down and take a moment and think, I said that I had been a good customer and didn't deserve the treatment, he talked right over my head to another couple, and then and quote told me he did not care if I was a customer, and that I should leave. I have no idea why, I wasn't rude, or loud and quite frankly it is illegal to not allow a wheelchair into your restaurant, so perhaps before you dismiss my stroller you should have the sensitivity to check to see if she needs it to move. If you are a handicapped person you should definitely avoid this place, if you are a mother you should avoid this place.
Great food. Been here a couple times and everything was amazing. Staff and owner are great. Cant wait to go back.
Love this place. Been going here for three years and have not been disappointed. The food is delicious. The only thing I would suggest is run some drink specials. The drink pricing is a little high. Overall, if you are looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant I recommend this place.
